In the early 1970s, Yumi was born in North Korea, a country already characterized by its homogeneity and minimal presence of outsiders.

By the time Yumi entered her teens in the late 1980s, the number of foreign residents in North Korea had reached its lowest point. The era in which numerous Soviet and Eastern European citizens resided as advisers was long gone, along with their assistance in avoiding famine and economic crises.

Looking for a future that offered more freedom and would depart from the path that awaited her and her peers, Yumi fled to China with a childhood friend.

Together, they embarked on their initial journey within China.

However, life as an undocumented immigrant in China proved arduous. Soon, Yumi found herself looking for job opportunities that exploited her beauty, diverging the paths of the two young Koreans.

Yumi's captivating charm and uncompromising sexuality would eventually elevate her to the role of an outstanding heroine, landing her in the United States.

There, she would go on to a remarkable career in the burgeoning adult film industry.
