Protestantism

Protestantism began when people who were Catholics came to believe that both the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church were corrupt churches, were false churches, were churches which led people to perdition not to Heaven, because neither was the True Church, recall Matthew 16. 13-19. If both Rome and Eastern Orthodoxy are false churches, if both lead people to perdition, but if the True Church is a Protestant church, well, which Protestant churches are false churches,? Which Protestant churches lead people to perdition? Which Protestant Church is the True Church? A Catholic would certainly tend to think that a Protestant would have to be a slave of the Devil if that Protestant says Rome leads people to Hell but every Protestant Church leads people to Heaven!

You hear some Protestants say you need only profess John 3. 16 and then you are saved, then you are a saint bound for Heaven. But professing John 3. 16 only proves you can say you have legit faith. It doesn't actually prove your faith is legit. The New Testament is filled with scriptures which say that your faith is bogus if you don't have good works. James 2. 17 - faith without works is dead. Luke 13. 3 - Repent of Perish. 1 John 5. 2 - you must obey the Commandments to love God. Those who love Christ keep His words and those who don't love Christ don't keep His words - John 14. 23-26. Hellfire for those who don't know God and who do not obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ - 2 Thess 1. 8. You're accursed if you alter St. Paul's doctrines which he learned directly from Christ - Galatians 1. 8-12.

No end of Protestant churches give the bread and the wine to anyone who shows up to partake: adulterers, fornicators, pro-choicers, Sabbath violators, yet 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29 says you drink damnation into your soul if you celebrate Holy Communion in an unworthy manner. 1 Corinthians 6. 9-10 gives us a list of sinners who will be damned. James 1. 26 says your religion is useless if you don't bridle your tongue. If your religion is useless them it won't deliver you to Heaven.

So, obviously, simply professing John 3. 16, when you are lost in mortal sin and refuse to repent, will not transform you into a saint bound for Heaven, despite what some Protestants say. Revelation 20. 12-15 plainly says we are judged at the Last Judgment by our works. If your name is written in the Book of Life you go to Heaven. If your name is not written in the Book of Life then you are cast into the lake of fire. St. Paul is clear we are saved by faith alone, but simply declaring you have faith doesn't prove you have legit faith. You're judged by your works at the Last Judgment to determine if your faith is legit.

No end of Protestants pretend Matthew 19. 24 doesn't exist (the rich go to perdition). Acts 5. 4 explains how the rich avoid perdition. But Protestants refuse to live according to Act 5. 4.
