America stands out as one of the first countries to experiment with a large-scale democracy, where citizens hold power through voting. This revolutionary system replaced the rule of kings and queens in the former British colonies. Following the American Revolution, a new superpower was indeed in the making. The creation of the Constitution in 1789 established a remarkable framework, at least in theory, for this new democratic experiment.

In theory, it offered a perfect path to fairness and equality for all. However, it seems to lack the grounding in a higher power, a source of benevolence that could have ensured its foundation was built on virtue.

Can a document like the Constitution, meant to represent freedom and equality, truly be born from a nation still grappling with the atrocities of slavery and the near-genocide of Native Americans?

Throughout history, we've seen countless empires rise to prominence before eventually giving way to new powers. From Rome to the British Empire, the cycle of rise and fall seems inevitable. Man's ingenuity has undoubtedly driven incredible advancements, but it's also led to challenges like environmental degradation and the potential for misuse of technology. As we look to the future, it's worth considering if this pattern will continue or if humanity can forge a new path.

Maybe humans messed up, focusing on stuff instead of caring for each other and the world. We need more love, maybe women can lead the way, but who knows? Only time will tell.
