The Farrows are a close family, bound together by a history of strangeness. When she realizes Meg is spying on her, she tries to silence her forever by summoning an ancient, powerful demon and trapping them together. Luckily for Meg, the demon is more interested in seeking revenge against his captor than in murdering her.
