The Scotsman entered and exited the Canada Revenue Building in Toronto, and within 45 minutes the Source Deductions Agency was left in a state of shock and horror after four of their own were executed in cold-blood.

Several days later the exclusive Hoggs Hollow region of Toronto was stunned by the death of the former head of that same agency; shot and killed in his own home, gangland execution style.

No suspects were ever apprehended for either case. No leads were ever obtained.

On a horse farm in rural Ontario, another brutal murder takes place with the killer actually tipping off the police. The first PC on the scene knew the victim, as did some of the responding detectives of the local Homicide Squad. A number of whom were shot in the head, all from a distance of over a kilometer away. The initial killer and sniper were never found. The case remains cold.

At the main police sub-station in Whitby, a PC is shot down as he and his partner exit the station and walk toward their cruiser. In the one-sided firefight that ensues, others pay the price for their association with a local gang leader and horse thief. A massive government and police cover-up remains to this day.

A woman suspected to have engineered the death of a rich, old man, and her own husband, suddenly disappears never to be seen again. Her grisly murder is an act of extreme and perverse justice.

Based on a true story, the connections between these killings are made perfectly clear, as the back-story behind each is detailed and, more importantly, the reason these murders and executions had to take place.

There comes a time when the victim has to become the victimizer. This is one of those frightening stories that just has to be told. The question that will always remain is: What would you have done?
