Spinning. Always spinning! Planet Earth perpetually rotates around the sun. This not only describes our planet's external exercise; the internal lives of all inhabitants are spinning as well. This spinning, orderly in the beginning, began to literally "spin out of control" with one catastrophic, extraterrestrial event in eternity past. That occurrence set in motion the deterioration of the cosmos as we know it. Mankind followed suit, continually repeating the same cycle set in place by far greater than any native to this planet. Throughout the history of the world, a snapshot at any given time would show dizzying displays of disturbing human activity. Without exception, incessant turmoil culminated in an ever-intensifying cycle of destruction and collateral damage.

This novel attempts to take just such a snapshot. Zooming in on the time of the Roman empire, you will discover a vital moment in history during which great chaos existed amid unprecedented law and order imposed by organized, even ruthless leaders. You will experience utter insanity displayed on a planet designed by her Creator to be beautiful and peaceful, expressing the nature of the Creator Himself.

Like concentric circles that form whenever a pebble is tossed into a pool of water, plots within plots have ravaged the earth. Evil forces and power struggles among humans have resulted in violent confrontations, all seeking to get the final death grip on earth's inhabitants. Is there no end to this hopelessness?
