Rescuing Dr. Burgess

Tessa Wainwright arrives in the town of Paris, Connecticut, after a difficult year filled with loss, personal sacrifice, and hard truths. She resolves to focus on herself, keep her life simple, and to stop being taken in by liars. 

Her strength is immediately put to the test when she finds the medical clinic she is supposed to be working at burning down before her eyes. While attempting a search for anybody trapped inside, she comes across her new boss: the handsome, mysterious, and animal-loving, Dr. Quinn Burgess.

Something sparks between them that has nothing to do with the fire. Concerned about the pitfalls of a romance with her boss and reminding herself that she isn't supposed to be taking on anything serious, Tessa resists the feelings.

When questions arise regarding the source of the money Quinn has been using to rebuild his clinic, he must face the demons of his past and the price they could cost him. Including a loving relationship based on authenticity, vulnerability, and honesty.
