Jaiden Cohen has a small home business as a freelance researcher, gathering information and building reports for a nice list of clients. She isn't getting rich, but she is very satisfied with her success so far. She doesn't need much and is not attracted to most flash and fancy, so she is content.
One of her clients, billionaire Dravin Ellison, succeeds in enticing her away from her home office, out into the world, all the way to New York, for two weeks. She is to sit in a merger meeting and do what she does best: research, snoop, find the interesting morsels of information and report. It is a very simple assignment, which is paying her very well, so she doesn't predict any issues to arise until she meets Dravin in person, and feels a resonace.
