Up until the day he finds me fake marrying his nephew, he never even kissed me properly. He blames the government cameras in his home, I think it has more to do with pure pig-headed bossiness. Pretty sure that makes this the slowest burn ever, am I right? But I can't just walk away and leave him to the mercy of those that simply follow his orders without question. He deserves better. He deserves me.

I'm convinced Grant came into my life so I could rescue him from a life of stuffy military protocols. It's my duty to remind him that there's more to life than missions and marking everything classified. And if he's going to swim naked in the dark, then it's definitely a crime against humanity not to watch that kind of perfection from the shadows of my room. FYI, he has no actual response to that (other than sexy growls and glares) which kinda proves my point

And when I told him he should learn to be more spontaneous, I did not mean taking the kind of risks that land people unconscious in secret military medical facilities. I waited so long for us to truly be together, I'm not going to let him leave me now.
