Rite of Passage: Start

There were six of us girls, we each just turned 18 years old and just graduated from high school. We were the top of the high school social girls and we were convinced that we were damn special. We had gotten summer jobs as waitresses at The Old Mill, a fancy restaurant out in the highway, just out of town.
The Old Mill went bankrupt and our summer jobs also went bankrupt. We were passing around the bankruptcy notice and feeling really bummed out.
Linda sneers, "The rest of you girls can sit around and feel sorry for yourselves, I am going to get a high paid waitress job and make some real money this summer."
Alice sneers back, "Exactly where do you intend to get your high paid waitress job, this close to summer?"
Linda sneers at me, "Alice, I intend to get a high paid waitress job and make some real money this summer at the same place that Flo got her high paid waitress job last summer, that's where."
Brenda laughs, "You mean Flo, the town whore?"
Linda says, "I mean Flo, the girl who drove back through here in a brand new car, at the end of last summer."
Donna laughs, "You mean the Flo, who worked as a nude waitress and nude dancer at the Painted Lady, way over across the river?"
Edie says, "You mean the Flo, who showed her self at the Painted Lady, way over across the river? Well, I got one of those too."
Franie says, "You mean the Flo, who showed what she got at the Painted Lady, way over across the river? Well, I got one of those and two of the other myself. I never let a boy feel me up, out in lover's lane, but I got 'em."
Linda sneers, "Franie, the dead line for fiction submittals is past."
Franie pipes up, "I never let a boy feel me up, out in lover's lane. I also never let a boy shove his big thing inside me, out in lover's lane, unlike some girls that I could name, if I were namin' names."
Linda again sneers, "I know that all of you shy blushing little girls played Snow White in the school play, but now we're talking about earning some money, out in the real world."
Edie says, "My parents want me to pay room and board. If I manage to get a waitress job at the Tower Drive In and I budget, I might just wind up the summer dead flat broke. Well, I got one of those too."
Alice asks, "You mean a very short skirt waitress at the Tower Drive In, where a boy who just asks, 'Wanna screw?' is considered to be a real gentleman?"
Donna laughs, "Yeah, the boys don't usually use the word screw."
Linda lectures, "I decided to get a high paid waitress job and make some real money this summer. So, I went and talked with Flo. I found out that to get a high paid waitress job at the Painted Lady, a girl has to get down and dirty with the Manager."
Brenda asks, "For real?"
Linda sighs, "A girl has to get down and dirty with the Manager. The girl also has to bring real photo ID, to prove that she isn't a little high school Freshman girl, as the authorities insist that a nude waitress and dancer has to be at least 18 years old."
