The first chapter is devoted to the development of rotorcraft from the days of the first flights of helicopter pioneers such as Juan de la Cierva, Paul Corno, Harold F. The remainder of the book details a selection of 126 individual rotorcraft types, including at least one photograph, technical performance data and a short history of the type.
