These anecdotes represent events that occurred during a Naval career that spanned more than a quarter-century and five nuclear submarines. Some of the stories are hilarious; some are poignant. Some are technical; most are not. All are true, if allowance is made for a sometimes shaky memory. Many will be familiar to mariners anywhere; others are unique to the author. All are enjoyable.
