SILVA

All Philip and Ben wanted to do was find out if humans could really understand the language of animals. And so they and their dog Aris set off into the north of the forest, to the three-hundred-year-old oak. But suddenly they end up in a woodland that they don't recognize at all, a sinister, dark and gloomy place. And that's how their exciting adventure in SILVA begins ...

Die Autorin Kristin Loras wurde 1972 in Graz geboren, sie lebt in Wien und ist Mutter von zwei Buben. Die Geschichte, die sie für ihre beiden Söhne zu schreiben begann, sollte richtig spannend sein und besondere Erlebnisse in einer fantastischen Welt schildern. Kinder sollten beim Lesen oder Zuhören aber keine Angst bekommen. So entstand SILVA, die Geschichte über die abenteuerliche Reise von zwei Brüdern und ihrem Hund in den magischen Wald. Die Illustrationen (Kohlezeichnungen und Farbbilder) hat die Autorin selbst erstellt. The author Kristin Loras was born in 1972 in Graz. She lives in Vienna and is the mother of two boys. She began writing the story for her two sons, so she wanted it to be very exciting and full of amazing experiences in a fantasy world. But she also wanted that children who read it, or have it read to them, shouldn't be too frightened. This was how SILVA became a story of two brothers on an adventurous journey with their dog through a magic forest.
