My life is a far cry from what I once imagined it would be. I'm struggling to make ends meet, working a job I hate while I do my best to achieve my Master's degree in social work, and feeling as though I'm on the verge of drowning. Everything changes, however, when showing up late at the office one too many times sees me ending up fired and penniless, and I come across a job opening as a nanny via an online personal ad.

I show up for an interview, not expecting for a moment that the man I'll soon be working for is none other than Liam Rogers- star quarterback for the Kansas City Bobcats.

I'm floored as I'm casually invited into his multimillion dollar mansion, and when his spoiled daughter Katie comes along and offers me a taste of just what a difficult job being Rogers' nanny may turn out to be.

In the end, though, my need to stay afloat financially, not to mention my unspoken feelings for this hulking beast of a football player, lead me to taking the job in spite of my best interest.

I'm certain that I can bring this family together given enough time. But when unexpected ghosts from Liam's past rear their head in the most violent of ways, I begin to wonder whether I may have signed on for a hell of a lot more than I bargained for...
