Saving Sophie: Seven Deadly Sins 2 (Hate)

When Sophie was little her parents died. That was bad enough. Most children who die are looked after successfully by social workers and foster carers. Not Sophie. For in the background of Sophie's life, supposedly worshipping at her church is a man called the deacon. He preys on children. He uses the church for access. His favourite prey is little girls just about Sophie's age. Worse he's connected to people in positions of power who can forge documents of adoption. He can lose the papers so children like her disappear from the system. No one notices. She's not alone. He has more than one little girl in the house. Worse, the Deacon is linked to a network of evil men who prey on children. They share their terrible acts with no shame on the internet for the world to see.
Can Sophie ever be freed? If she is can she ever live with the memories? Or is she doomed to a life where she will just become a nameless but not faceless victim? Even if she does what happens after abuse? What happens when bitterness from abuse takes over, when hate wins?
Half a world away, working in Interpol, Gideon, a young Australian police officer seconded to the force is just becoming aware of Sophie's torment. He's fighting cyber crime, and trying to locate victims and fight paedophiles of international significance. He's also a Christian, and he's fighting in prayer for a way to stop evil networks and save children like Sophie.
Gideon is not alone, nor is he without resources, for he has a God who cares fighting to help him find the truth. He has a God interested in saving Sophie.
