Saying No to the Big O introduces readers to Daphne "Daph" Collins, owner of a PR boutique agency. Daph has a revolving door of men to whet her sexual appetite and has never been turned down by a man much to the chagrin of her best friends. When one of her friends bets Daph she can't go a week without having an orgasm, she scoffs at the idea. That is, until she meets Rick Bowen, a devastatingly handsome man that cuts down every one of her advances. Disillusioned by her first rejection, Daph accepts the bet. Surely, she can go a week without giving herself or receiving from another an orgasm.
