Science education being an important component of the educational system should contribute for the solution of the problems of the country by developing desirable understandings, skills, abilities and attitudes among everyone. The greatest challenge is to humanize science that is to make it relevant to human needs and aspirations. This present book titled science Education and Psychological Factors covers the how psychological factors are influencing on the achievement in science among secondary school learners. The achievement in science among the secondary school students can be developed through improving the attitudes towards house work in science of both students and teachers, through study of cognitive factors underlying the learning of science on the personality and temperamental characteristics of the students; through development of special teaching materials for science for special group through development of packages of divergent type of problems and skills in problem solving and through comparison of different social psychological factors on the learning of science. Therefore, the knowledge of psychological factors is very useful so as to understand both teaching and learning process in a very systematic way in science education.
