The book shares the story of political interference in Hollywood. The author reveals specific script changes made by the government for political reasons to dozens of blockbuster series like Avatar, Meet the Father, and The Terminator. In the book, much of Hollywood's entertainment, while purportedly neutral, actually contains pro-military and pro-business messages. The book explores more deeply how the Pentagon and intelligence agencies managed to get these messages into so many films, drawing on the numerous documents released by the FOIA to do so.
