Separated From the Light

This is must read for individuals who have experienced traumatic or abusive life events. It offers common-sense theory explaining what a human being does in reaction to trauma and suggests a path to recovery. Written for the survivor, Separated From the Light is presented in two parts.

Part One utilizes storytelling, offering the reader a chance to identify with the protagonist's internal reaction to trauma. It describes the intense emotional struggle, the loss of self and the mental battle field all this plays out on.

Part Two is an educational view of the survival dynamic called unfolding. This is a normal reflexive reaction to a dysfunctional life event. Dr Bill's theory on the human journey of unfolding is presented in a simple and easily understand manner which helps survivors normalize their own reaction.
