Sharing the Light

From the Prince William County Virginia, Poets Circle, Spilled Ink, comes Sharing the Light, a collection of diverse authors, whose experiences and thoughts are shared in this new anthology.

This collection of inspirational poems focus on nature, friendship, daily every day and sometimes, the mundane occurrence, made more significant when put into poetry form. It's an outlet for all the writers in this intimate and interesting circle of human beings who come together to meet regularly and share their love for the written word.

Writing and creativity is a gift we all have, this collection explores the various themes of time, wonder, from the smallest of beings, e.g., Cicadas On Shore Leave, to the beauty of a Sunrise 6:54 AM, and Chasing Sunsets to the moon and back in the Astronaut Armstrong Senryu, a poem exploring the world beyond our land, and who gets credit, (or not) for the words written and said by the infamous. These are just a few of the titles in the 30+ poetic offering by this community of writers.

These poems are the inner musings of complex minds who've taken time to observe, think on a myriad of things, slow down, pay attention, listen keenly, and in these pages, pen what came to mind about the world in which we all live in, and care for.
