Shin Kagé: Duel at the Derelict

In the far future, young Shin Kagé lives on earth's lost colony world of Araoa, the mountain world of three moons. He lives a brutal life, beaten by his vapid stepmother's boyfriend. To escape a cruel existence, despite having no skills and nowhere to go, Shin runs away from home, ending up in Araoa's wilderness. Little does he know this path will eventually lead to the Way of the Wandering Warrior in the tradition of the Samurai. 

After a few years training, Shin is an expert swordsman, though not invincible. Perhaps too soon he chooses another path back to danger: a blood-duel of honor with the corrupt headmaster of a rival martial arts school. When Shin Kagé shows up for the match at a rusting derelict spaceship, little does he know he will be facing not one man, but an entire school.
