Abigail Troyer didn't always live in the Amish community where she was raised. After her parents died in a crash when she was nine, her grandparents raised her. She'd always felt like an outsider and was happy to leave the small community behind to spread her wings in the real world, working as the personal assistant to Rafael. He is a wild playboy, but also a good friend. She'd never really fit in her grandparents' world but she doesn't feel like she belongs in Rafael's world either.
