So Heavy

While I wait for Lucas, who's taking forever to make a simple little cocktail for me, I scan the room and see all of the usual suspects. There's Ryan, the rich real estate broker, there's Matthew, the broke, but really cute stoner, Larry, Derek, and Tom. I don't know what Larry, Derek, or Tom doThen, of course, there are their girls: Maya, Colette, Rebecca, Samantha, Miranda, and Lindsey. I think Colette might like me, but, other than her, they all hate my guts. I definitely deserve it, though, I've slept with quite a few of their husbands before I got married to mine. But, then there's this guy, standing casual against the railing to the second floor, who's someone I've never seen before tonight. He's got sandy brown hair, really dark eyes, and a smile so disarming that it takes my breath away for a moment, even from way over here in the kitchen. "Who's that?" I ask, Lucas. "Who? Oh him? That's Bruce," he tells me.This Bruce guy is seriously hotmore than hot, like next-level scorching heat. He takes his shirt off and throws it casually in the corner, revealing a ripped six-pack and biceps bigger than my entire head. His body is sun-soaked, without an inch of fat on it, and I just want to stare at him and drool, and I'm mad that I can't.
