Songs Unsung

Omagh born singer/songwriter Ciaran McElhinney is best known in the Northern Ireland music scene for his unique style of whimsical and satirical lyrics exploring everything from everyday life and politics to love and hate.

Having supported artists such as Horslips, Alabama 3, Hothouse Flowers, Henry McCullough, Pat McManus, Tom Baxter, Bap Kennedy, Mike Denver, Ronnie Greer, Blaze Bayley and many more, Ciaran has carved a niche as being a versatile artist capable of playing many styles and crowds.

Influenced by everything from Rock, Metal, Blues, Bluegrass and Country to Americana, Irish and Folk, his own style is a local brand of Blues and Americana meets Bluegrass meets Rock.

Songs Unsung is a collection of lyrical poetry that once started off as the beginnings of songs and took on a life of their own ending up a series of poems.

The collection of 22 poems are Ciaran's personal observations and musings written over the course of around two years.
