The journey south to find a dry, warm climate leads to the high desert of southern New Mexico. Far from friends and family Peggy and her husband settle in retirement at the Kingdom of the Sun. Her love of animals leads her to write heart warming stories about the pets of the residents especially dogs and cats. Life becomes difficult when she is diagnosed with lymphoma and she undergoes chemo therapy. Through these difficulties her faith in the Lord sustains her.
