Oxford, Mississippi was the typical small, Southern town. It had just the sort of things one might expect to find in a typical, small Southern town. Lazy Sundays and Sinful Saturdays, with work weeks scattered in-between that seemed to stretch on for longer than would be welcome anywhere else.
