If you are a Christian your destination after you are physically separated from your body will be Heaven. But you must be a Christian in the mold of Christ and not one by tradition or affiliation to end up in heaven.
It is a matter of great concern that there a number of people who call themselves Christian but in reality they are not. You are not a Christian because you attend church by tradition or are affiliated to a family that is described as Christian.
To be a Christian requires that you personally accept Christ's offer of salvation - verbally acknowledge you are a sinner who needs to be saved, believe in your heart that He died to pay for your sins and acknowledge Him as your Lord and Saviour. If you have not done this then you are not a Christian.
A Christian believes by conviction and not by compulsion that ONLY Jesus Christ can save people and lead them to God. You cannot be double-minded about this truth. If you don't believe only Jesus can save, you are not a Christian. You may call yourself one but you are not considered one in the eyes of God.
A Christian is expected to adopt a lifestyle of spiritual emphasis which translates to living according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh. There is a reason why we are expected to do so.
God wants to see believers pursue a lifestyle of spiritual emphasis because it empowers people to stay in command of their circumstances. He designed us to function optimally only when we walk in the light of His Word and under the guidance of His Holy Spirit.
