Stormy's Blessings

"WAKE UP, STORMY. YOUR alright, I'm here." Jasper perched himself on the side of my bed, his warm hand delicately brushing the uncovered skin on my back. When I opened my eyes, I was sitting upright on the edge of the bed with sweat trickling down my face.

"How? What...Why would you say you're here?"

"You were shouting my name. I could hear you all the way to my house."

"Oh, I've been having very unpleasant dreams these last few days."

"What are they about? Besides me, of course." Raising his eyebrows, he smiled at me. Shifting my body off the bed, I shrugged my shoulders.

"When will my Grandmother be back? Shouldn't we have heard from her by now?" His blue eyes sent chills through me, I wanted to slip into his embrace. Shaking my head, I headed for the living room. He was tailing me. I knew I needed to answer him, yet I did not want to talk about his part in my dreams.

"You had a dream about her, didn't you?"
