When others show up in this space around this feeling, the wounded one's responses can be numb, cold, frozen, or a desire to get out of the situation or away from the people who are comfortable in that space. #4 I knew what sex was, and I knew what violence was, at a young age. I would see my parents snort methamphetamine, and I would be given a full adult size dose of NyQuil, which would knock me out every night. I learned to keep quiet and always put a smile on my face.
