The team was able to build trust and confidence with the Afghan soldiers by walking with them and patrolling with them. #3 The highlight of my days now consisted of receiving supplies from the air, usually well after midnight. The only thing that made getting up at 0200 to receive a CDS drop was the chance to see the amazing view of stars on clear nights. #4 I was able to set up my Raven B drone, a small and lightweight prop plane with a side-mounted camera that was easy to deploy on short notice. I wanted to help Rob in any way I could, so I placed the radio antenna on the roof of our tactical operations center and flew it around the Bazaar area.
