He allowed them to eat from the tree of life, but they disobeyed him and ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. As a result, they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden and had to wander the earth. #3 The story of Noah is told in the book of Genesis. Noah was a man of integrity and had a special relationship with God. Because of this, God did not want to destroy him with the rest of humanity. He revealed his plan to destroy the world with a flood, and ordered him to build an ark out of gopher wood and cover it entirely with pitch. #4 After the flood, God kept his promise to Noah and all the animals on the ark. He closed the huge underground caverns of water that had broken open, and he stopped the rain. He sent a powerful wind to accelerate the evaporation of water.
