Survival of Love

Jack had always liked Susanna (Susie) and when she finally agreed to go out with him during their senior year, he was as excited as could be. Susie was one of the few people in town who knew what he truly was, a wolf shifter, and he was shunned by many for this very reason the moment they found out. Oh, not by the people in his hometown who didn't really care what he was. No, by people who didn't know him or who were new to the area and who didn't understand that he was still a normal person.

See, Jack lives in a small town in Pennsylvania, and while they have an elementary school, they all have to go to the county high school. He loved living in a small town and would never trade it for anything, and their easy acceptance of him made that easier. There was, however, a distinct shortage of single women his age so Susie agreeing to go out with him was the best thing that he thought could happen.

When they both graduate high school, will it still be the best thing that has happened to him or will everything get ripped to pieces with Susie's devastating news? Will their love survive a long separation or will it crumble and never be put together again?
