The book in your hand is about the church of God which has been hijacked by whims and caprices of men at the expense of simple biblical Christianity modeled after Christ. The church has for long been run by the principles, systems, philosophies, precepts, and ideologies of men, putting aside the standard and principles of Christ. The book observes man's overbearing influence over the church, which makes him treat it as though a personal property, forgetting it was Christ that bought the church with His precious blood; while some hold tenaciously to man-made doctrine and constitution that stand opposed to the Bible, which hinders the effective workings of the Holy Spirit in the Church.
