THE ONLY WOLF MATE

25-year-old Fleura Stratton is a she wolf who is not a part of a pack. It's not that she went rogue or was abandoned; rather, it's just that she has always been by herself. Surprisingly for a creature with a group mentality, she even likes it that way. Solo travel and the ability to go anywhere, at any time. That is, until she encounters some hunters by accident, at which point everything in her universe collapses.

The 28-year-old Gamma member of the Starry Creek pack, Dakota Jackson, is also by himself. although not exactly on purpose. He set out to find his soulmate after learning that both his Alpha and Beta had mates, only to have her brutally reject him. Despite his pack's persistent calls, he hasn't returned home a year after being rejected. He travels and seeks out evil in whatever form it manifests itself in, with the intention of spending the rest of his days alone and lonely.

This brings him face to face with a girl who revives the mate bond he believed to have died long ago. Will Fleura give up her life of solitude in order to join the pack? Will Dakota give in to love once more? Or will they both always have to be lone wolves?
