The plot is based on the main characters of Romeo and Juliet with supporting characters in Mercutio and Paris. Written in 1567, this tragic romance stretching back to antiquity. The story ends up in the tragic death of young lovers and ultimately uniting their feuding families. Along with Hamlet, this is one of the masterpieces of Shakespeare.
