"The Universal You" was inspired by my personal journey of growth and expansion shaped by experiences of both triumphs and failures. It is a testament to my deep-seated desire to help and inspire people using my own experiences as a blueprint. Much of my personal journey (as you will read) is moulded by my family's history and strong advocacy for justice and community service. The people that I consider heroes and that I look up to have given me the strength to help others.

The cover of the book is the entry point to my journey. It is rooted in symbolism that I hope will resonate with the reader. The Universal You is an expression of duality. It encourages people to embrace both the light and dark characteristics of themselves. My childhood fears helped me become fearless, and a champion for people. It's about finding that balance, but first, you need to address your fears. It is only when we are centred and balanced that we are able to speak our truth and communicate the essence of ourselves.

This book encourages the reader to find their own "sword of truth". It is meant to empower the reader to draw on their own intellect, guidance and personal power for moving forward. If you find yourself struggling to listen to your inner voice and the attainment of your own personal goals, this book is for you. Through my timeline journey, you will listen to your inner voice and address certain areas in your life for resolution.

This book is an expression of self-love and love for all those who walked the path alongside me. Below each timeline chapter, there will be a short summary containing the lessons learnt. I am excited and humbled for you to join me on this journey of self-exploration.
