THERE IS POWER IN THE WORD OF GOD!

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Psalm 19:7-11

The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD [is] sure, making wise the simple.

The statutes of the LORD [are] right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD [is] pure, enlightening the eyes.

The fear of the LORD [is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD [are] true [and] righteous altogether.

More to be desired [are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Moreover by them is thy servant warned: [and] in keeping of them [there is] great reward.

The three greatest Divine Gifts to mankind are: The Gift of the Person of Jesus (this includes His Name and His Blood), the Gift of the Person of the Holy Spirit (this includes His Gifts), and the Gift of the Word of God.

Why is the Word of God powerful? Why should a believer place faith on the Word of God? Why will mankind be judged by the written Word of God? Why does Satan fight so hard to take away the Word from the church?
