Have you ever found yourself in a chapter of life where you cannot seem to figure a way out? A phase where all the bad things that are happening seem to be a direct result of past mistakes and poor choices? Or where you encounter something beyond your control, but it appears that you could have had a way out, had you made smarter choices in your younger years?
These poems communicate the deep emotions, the fears, the feelings of confusion, regret, hopelessness and depression that the author, like any human, experienced in one of the most trying times of his life. However, he also expresses faith in that he begins to acknowledge God's presence in his life, seeks His help and starts believing that he will come out of the situation a better person.
He started healing when he started believing that whether or not this was his fault, a better version of himself was in the making. That a great life was still ahead and that in time, God would be reveal it.
