The story you are about to read is entitled "Twinner," a short horror story authored by Njasang Nji about how pride can manifest in an unexpected, and evil, way.
Twinner is relatively short but feels much longer, something created for the big screen, in fact. "Twinner" is the name given to a demon that materializes when someone cannot get enough of his own reflection and is full of hubris. But the manner in which this monstrous creature manifests is horrifyingly spine-tingling. Twinner's origins are vague and ancient but it is still very much an active and malignant entity, able to take advantage of the human failing of pride.
Everything takes place in the suburbs of Colorado and revolves around the handsome but far too haughty, and athletically gifted, son of an interracial couple and their neighbors down the street.
*Twinner is one in a collection of various novels and short stories that take place in the Elsewhere and Elsewhen universe created by Njasang Nji, under attendant Copyright license and all accompanying patent laws, rules, and/or regulations.*
