Reasons to create your own blogging system:
Your blogs contain poetry, big blogging systems don't let you format that correctly
You want to use multiple fonts in a blog, easily

I developed a Radical Blogging Method, so that I could just use simple HTML and CSS to crete my blogs on my website. Then I added some bells and whistles to make my Method work more like the big blogging systems
