Tamisan

In the jungles of Althar 3, Zhenna Rhodarma has more than just the wildlife to worry about.

When Zhenna is left mortally wounded after a pirate attack, Dr Starrick, the scientist in charge of Althar 3's research facility, is forced to save her the only way he can - transferring her consciousness into the body of a native.

Though grateful to be alive, Zhenna soon realises that something isn't right at the research base. She isn't the only person to have undergone an illegal, experimental procedure, and Dr Starrick didn't just have saving her life in mind.

Zhenna takes the first opportunity to escape the base, but there are as many dangers on the outside as there are inside. Zhenna will have to embrace her new identity as a Waikari if she's to survive the deadly flora and fauna, slave traders, and Dr Starrick's pursuit. But can she reconcile her human memories with her strange new body and abilities, and the memories of the girl whose body she's been given?
