Aeronautics, Astronautics, and now Terranautics. Everyone knows the first two. The third, though, may be the most important of all: the art of navigating the future here on Earth.
Terranautics 101 is Dr. Reynold Ruslan Feldman's "basics" for doing just that. A retired university English professor, dean, and academic vice president as well as a mystic in the Sufi tradition, he describes in this book the 55 qualities and skills he finds most necessary for Terranauts. Together with Sophia Walder-Hoge, a fellow Yale graduate 52 years after him, he has created the nonprofit Terranautics Project. Their intention is to stimulate a world-wide human-development movement to prepare future leaders who are all Terranauts.
The Project's website is www.terranautics.org. Terranautics 101 is merely a statement of Ren's ideas on what Terranauts should know, be, and be able to do. Please read this book, go to the website, and tells us yours.
