Single-mom Holly Winters is not having a good week. First, she's trying speed-dating and ends up having returning ex hockey-pro Jake Bentley at her table; her first and hardest crush. With a lot more muscle and dark delicious voice he causes everything to tingle inside her. She may have, unintentionally, informed him she was excellent at something he inferred as sex. Now, to keep him on the hook she might have to live up to the fraudulent statement.

Second, there's a dead body at her kitchen door, and to make matters worse, he was one of the men she met during her speed-dating adventure. Crap.
Third, not only is the cop on duty, Jake Bentley, he's also one of the men she speed-dated. When a second body is spotted with Holly's name fastened to his chest Jake fears for his own safety. Problem is, he might not have noticed Holly in school but seeing her now as a sexy woman with the proper amount of curves he isn't blind anymore. Hell no.
Mixing business and pleasure might be frowned upon but he can't help himself. He craves her, no matter the risk of being the next man going six feet under, especially to find out more about that "thing" she's good at.
