Chez is preparing for life after high school. For starters, he's ready to give up his player status and leave shallow relationships behind; the insecure girls who display their life stories on a charm bracelet or Photoshop their Facebook photos for likes and comments no longer interest him. Even though his best friends, wise-cracking Johnny Cool and overly shy Danny Boy, aren't as eager to grow up, Chez knows that the deeper qualities of a woman are what make up the foundation of true love.

Chez is drawn to the new transfer student, Felicity, from the moment he first lays eyes on her. Her beauty and quick wit would drive any man crazy. But as Chez and Felicity's love begins to bloom, dark menaces draw ever closer, to throw the lives of Chez and his friends into chaos.

Jesse, a privileged, rich kid from Westlake High School, also has eyes on Felicity. When rich kids can't have what they want, they will hurt and destroy anything in their way.
