Ancient Rome. Young woman struggles to find her place as an artist in the world strictly ruled by men. Is her talent enough to overcome the obstacles made by laws and prejudice? After marrying Septimus, Master's son, seemingly perfect family life becomes shattered when her husband confronts her with idea of her creating a new Roman temple under the name of Julius. Even though she was already once officially banned from pursuing her dream, Juliana cannot resist the opportunity to show all that she has. Despite of knowing that the price of being caught in deceit will mean end of her life and most likely her family's, in a madwoman's daze she surrenders all of herself to art.
