Kevin is a police officer, with a tough job in a very sensitive investigative unit. One morning, while getting coffee, he sees a barista that he is certain is the victim from a cold case he had long since given up on.
When his supervisor doesn't buy it, and refuses to reopen the case, Kevin tries to gather the evidence he needs to convince his supervisor that this is the same girl, while simultaneously struggling with his own demons brought on by the highly stressful nature of his work.
When the inevitable happens and Kevin is transferred from the unit and placed on stress leave, he cannot let the case go, and his increasingly desperate efforts to reopen the case and become the saviour he always wanted to be lead to a tragic conclusion.
