Kallie O'Brian loved Calico Harbor but hated the waters. Her little catering business on the boardwalk did well and she loved the view from her business and home place. Kallie even would take walks along the shore but not get her toes wet.

A catering job comes her waythe boat club. She hoped it wasn't out in the waters The name of the boat club member looked familiar and it wasn't until the next morning that she finally remembered who he was. Cole Andrews had hired her to do a former catering job up at the Andrews's cabin.

She didn't like him.

When she met him again, she reserved judgment and things started to happen between them. Suddenly Calico Harbor became the target of a series of break-ins along the boardwalk. Kallie's place of business which also served as her home became a main target.

Cole insisted that she stay at his place while the police did their investigation. It made her nervous to stay at his own house but he made her at home and told her to use his kitchen for her catering. It had everything she needed.

As the crimes heated up along the boardwalk, things heated between them. Kallie didn't know what to think. Love was not on her list.
