Gentili, a symbol of hope and resilience, was admired for her journey from Argentina to the bustling streets of New York City. Her unwavering advocacy for marginalized communities, from undocumented immigrants to sex workers, served as an inspiration to many. She played pivotal roles at organizations like GMHC and founded Trans Equity Consulting, where she amplified the voices of marginalized communities. Through initiatives like Transmissions Fest and Fierce Futures, she continued to uplift and support transgender and Black trans individuals.
