Pete Dubois was commuting to the office when he read the headline he couldn't believe Psychosis Outbreaks across the U.S. and Canada. A virus, driving people mad? Just a hoax? He learns the nightmare is real when roving bands of soldiers, somehow acting in perfect synchronicity, chase him through Boston's streets, tearing the city apart. In desperation, Pete forms a hasty partnership with Jackie Sullivan, a salty old local, and his estranged daughter, Kelly.
