Brittany Hoffman has been through an absolutely horrible summer; she lost her best friend to cancer and almost all of her friends have moved away from her. Nothing is at all how she imagined it be and now she has to start high school too? Unfortunately for her, being sheltered and protected most of her life means she isn't making the best decisions especially in regards to her dating life. The first two guys she dates after her break up with Michael are jerks. When one of them becomes obsessed with her, Brittany doesn't know what to do or where to turn. Her friends and family try to help but no one really believes the danger she is in. Will it be too late when someone finally realizes the hazards that lie ahead?
